I had a computer with 2 dvd writers in, bought a new pc with dvd writer and now a lightscribe dvd writer.

Gave the old pc to my niece now I have a pc with 4 dvd writers.

Is their software available with which you can burn multiple copies at the same time without any other hardware?

Any advice, links to downloads will be appreciated.

Nero would work on all the DVD-rw if thats what your asking.

If you wanted to burn the samething at the same time, you would have to setup each pc to do that. You cant burn 2 DVD's at the same time using the same PC. (just does not work) You also can burn DVd's\Cd's over a network.

Thanx, I was hoping there were some way to write to multiple dvd's at the same time.
With 4 pc's you could do this, make an image of the DVD on each Pc and just setup that each Pc makes [total copies \4] copies. This way your doing 4 at one time.

I have seen in Nero where you choose the speed you want to write the cd/dvd that there is an option that you can select that say Use multiple recorders or something like that. I didnt use it, cause im normal and do not own 4 dvd writers :D

you pirater

your prolly one of dvd pirates lol why else would you wanna burn copies at a time

but i dunno if this would work
but cant you open like nero's right
then select difference drives and bingo 4 drive work
well atleast it sounds right to me

I've used Nero's "Use multiple drives" (only 2 drives tho) with success; using different makes of drives. Of course, I was writing multiple copies of the same image, not different images at the same time.

Nero will burn on all drives at the same speed (so you can't burn on one drive at 4x and the other at 8x.)

IIRC, Alcohol can also do it, but the drives have to be the same make and model.

luck
