A MAJOR discovery (Standard def TV)

What's the spec?

Be careful it's not an "HD Ready" SDTV. ie supports 720p/1080i signal but downscales on the screen.
 
yep, some of the newer samsung SD tv's have component inputs. they are a bit better than standard RCA single video cable
