Hi there

I've just installed a lynksys wrt54g wireless bb router to make iBurst avl to anywhere in our house. I've got my dell laptop connected no problem.

But girlfriend has a fujitsu siemens v2010 with ralink wireless chipset.

I can't get her wireless connection to connect. Have set ip address of the wireless card to be set by router, disabled norton internet security, switched off windows firewall... explicitly set the network security options in card. It can't even see that there is a wireless network available.

What the h@ll next can I do? The laptop links to the router via ethernet no probs.

Check that the router is not setup for point-to-point, must be point-to-multi-point, that can be one answer.

Isn't there a button she needs to push to activate wireless?

Is there a wireless icon showing next to the clock saying there is no wireless connection?

get later drivers.... those fujitus never come with decent wireless drivers from the shop

used the 'update driver' button on the property pages - couldn't find a newer driver, but will see if I can find one on the Fujitsu / Ralink site...

ive got a fujitsu siemens laptop and next to the power button is a button that looks like a satelite( that being the button for the wireless) check the light is on?

otherwise just update the drivers in manager. :)
