About to play Farcry again!

I picked up Farcry today for R99 (from Incredible Corruption, nogal) - and I can't wait to play this brilliant game again!

Well, I'm 92% done with the cumulative v1.4 patch - a whopping 180MB patch, thank goodness for iBurst!!!

Ah, we're on 95% now....
 
Pity the local SGS servers have been discontinued, drop me a PM if you are keen for a bit of online mayhem :)
 
Ah, man, I'm enjoying this game! Can't stop playing it.... damn!
 
i hate the monsters in the game,i like real life like people to shoot at you know
the spoil in this game is the monsters ,why do they do that,the same as doom they ike to throw in fantasy,**** happens
 
I am also getting the Patch for my copy of the game perhaps we can all get together for some online action? perhaps we can contact eachother on MSN?

hmmm farcry. what a brilliant idea. great game i think i will join you in this awesome experience.
 
Hi, I also just bouhgt Far Cry from Incredible Connection. Wanted to try playing multiplayer. I never had the legit copy before. Played the campaign, in the last level, Volcano, so far the most difficult of all the levels. Fantastic game, and I like idea that most maps can be completed in different ways, ie different routes can be taken. Online seems to lag a bit, on ADSL 1024, upgraded to 4096
 
Has anybody installed the 1.4 patch? If so perhaps yuo can help. Farcry starts up just fine, but then as soon as it finishes loading a map it crashes to desktop. Any thoughts?
 
Err....i like the monsters.... it's what made doom a scary game....and the monsters in farcry are pretty awesome :D

had the same prob,i fixed it by geting me the original game,and reistalling directx 9.0c,and the monitor drivers,What i did have was a **** virus called a (cough) backup copy.
 
Well, coz of this thread i also picked up Farcry at IC for R99. This is the first time I'm playing it *gasp* and I'm enjoying it a lot. Thx guys.
 
Anyone playing FarCry with HDR (High Dynamic Range, like in Half Life 2) enabled, does it look much better?
