Just checked some polish sites looking for info on ADSL.
Being ex "communist block" country Poland has started from a very low base of broadband internet users but has achieved VERY HIGH growth rates

http://www.tp-ir.pl/?page=financial_press_show&lang=en&idNews=1438&category=3

It has lately launched 6Mb service for all inclusive 206 PLN / month ( aprox R 400).

The take-off of TP's broadband Internet access services reached 888,000 (as at the end of the second quarter of 2005), i.e. 618,000 more than a year ago. By the end of 2005, we intend to increase this figure to 1.1 million
.. It just shows if Telkom were to drop prices...........they would still make a S%$# load of money beacuse of higher uptake

Yeah, but if we had 6MB lines, we could use our whole 3GB cap in about an hour. :D

HeHe He

It comes with 50 Gb cap after which speed drops to 32kbs
SHAME only 50 GB :o

That 1MB Diginet cost makes a lot of sense -
50:1 contention ratio:
BusinessADSL512:

= R1300 per month . . .

Coincidence? I think not . . . .
