Last week friday our area was hit by heavy lightning, and it took out two pc's and my adsl line 
(oh, and I do have surge protectors, so much for that)
Interesting though, I went to my local telkom shop to get my router replaced, which actually went very smooth. There was about six of us in the queue, three of us were there to swap our routers
