They are the far from the best, I pay them every month top dollar for my apparently premium product, business uncapped unshaped account, the line has been slow lately so I lodged a support call with them, they asked me for test results, which I send them, and basically tell me if I want faster I must upgrade my line speed, if I have further issues I must call Telkom and that my line is locked to my phone number, (which I don't see how it affects my problem, guess it`s AH support logic).

Please Note that because you are on a Business DSL Package Download speed is dependent on the line speed combined with the package speed. Taking a faster package on a slow line will not increase speed. Business DSL Accounts are locked to a single phoneline. The phoneline it gets locked to is the first line used to connect. If your number changes simply contact us to clear the current number. Your speed will be as fast as your Telkom ADSL line allows for every kind of traffic (Actual speed is dependent on line speed, distance from the exchange, quality of the cabling in your area and current capacity of your Telkom exchange). Please contact Telkom to check if there is any interruptions on the line.

I seem to be lucky I have not had any problems really since coming from openweb... Everything just works while op openweb during the day I could not even browse here I can stream youtube and twitch.

It seems to me something is wrong with the telkom network and some places have issues with certain isp's. Now if only the isp's will investigate the issues :confused:

Yeah thanks dude, this was my intention. With everyone frustrated with the network at the moment there was just brewing negativity so I needed to lighten my own mood and hopefully a few others. Thanks for the slap on the wrist grammar police ;)
 
Its seems that Telkom is the new MWEB and Afrihost is the new Telkom LOL. All crap!

Quite the contrary in my experience - any Telkom/SAIX account used at my company performs horribly, but Afrihost accounts performs excellently.

This gave me a lot of headaches and unwanted stress. So glad Telkom is now out of my life. I don't need their **** anyways.
