Aircon recommendations

I'm looking for the cheapest 12kbtu aircon that is black or dark grey to match my paint color.

Infinity is out of stock.

Definitely made sure and asked for the inverter one. Asked the installers on the day as well, and they confirmed it is an inverter one too.
most of the units I have, actually say inverter on them (Both Samsung and LG).

If yours does not say it and you had to ask the installer, are you sure its an inverter based one?

How are these Alliance AC going... The installer I have is also trying to sell me these and I am not convinced yet.
I had two of the Alliance Black Mirror Inverters installed, 18k btu in the lounge and 12k btu in the bedroom.

They are running most of the time, as they are connected through my inverter and I try to maximise solar power.

Overall review.

Positives...
1. They obviously cool
2. Outside units are quiet
3. Smart app and Google home integration works perfectly
4. They look really good - I think only the LG artcool can compete (excl. other premium options).
5. The 12k btu unit uses less than 300w overnight - so no issues running it through the night off battery power

Negatives...
1. They don't have auto horizontal flap adjustment (you can set it manually though)
2. The 12k btu outside unit started making a random noise - which I could not replicate. My installer is coming out tomorrow to have a look, possibly something got into the unit - not sure, (unit still works perfectly fine).

Thanks ...that is a bummer about the flaps... guess I will look at another brand

If I'm not mistaken, the samsung models don't have auto horizontal flap adjustment as well
