Alcatel One Touch T10.

Say what? I've Tried Google Chrome, Firefox, I.E. IDM, Free Download Manager? I use 8ta.

Could you re-upload elsewhere if you don't mind.

Yes it works, just need to except the ssl certificate. I started the download then canceled it (I dont have the tablet). I am running around with work at the office atm, out to a meeting shortly. If you dont come right ill download it for you> if you pm me a shared dropbox folder or something I can drop it in there for you.

i purchased this last week from esquire, and it only has 2gb storage.....will ask as to why this only has 2gb onboard storage

The unit actually comes with 4gb on board but 2gb is used for standard stock applications and 2Gb is useable that is why it comes with an extra 2gb MicroSD installed on the side of the unit
and btw you can download the latest firmware update for this unit to work with Angry birds from the Alcatel website

Just noticed the firmware takes up 1.37gb. yes i did have an issue with angry birds, however the tech at the durban branch was very helpful and sorted me out and i was up and playing games in no time.

Next issue for you to find a solution to esquire.....this can only take a Fat32 formatted sd card, however you cant transfer anything over 4gb for a single file onto a Fat32 formatted card......need to get ntfs formats to work on this device. Any ideas?

that is an interesting observation , let me send another hounding email to Alcatel Europe as we were only company in the world to get it right for them to bring out a firmware to get Angry birds working on those units as many have tried and failed for almost one year , I wrote an email to the CEO of Alcatel Europe and he got his team to write an update that took three months but finally came in the end please sent me a PM so that I can send it off to him , with over 3500 units sold this is actually the first one of this nature.

Thanks. i have downloaded an app from the google play store to allow mounting of ntfs cards, however it needs root access to work. This will become a pian when trying to watch hd movies over 4gb as you cant transfer the files onto Fat32.

This can take a maximum of 32GB, now why would you need to transfer a file over 4GB?

if a single hd movie (.mkv file) is over 4gb big (generally is) then you cannot transfer that file onto a fat32 formatted sd card regardless of how big the card itself is.

My point exactly, why would you put a single movie over 4GB? Not rational watching a movie with all the bells and whistles when it comes to resolution if you're watching it on a tiny screen. Would at least be explicable if the device had a mini HDMI port.

all my stuff is hd. im not going to try and find smaller versions just for my tablet. And the quality of HD series on this is amazing.

Even 720p rip (800MB) is amazing. Question is, at 32GB max how many things you're going to fit in? 5, 6 movies max? What about the battery consumption?

Ok so I have been playing around with this and it is amazing for the price. It can play angry birds (once you have loaded the update for the OS), hd quality is perfect on this little thing....movies don't lag (by the way esquire waiting for feedback for that card format issue).

I decided to push it for as long as I could and watch hd movies and played angry birds (none stop) until it ran out of power.....it lasted 6 hours and 1 minute from full charge.

All in all very impressive, only thing that bugs me (apart from the memory format issue) is that you have to plug it into a power point to charge it, would of been nice if it could charge through usb.

Verdict......plays HD content (even .MKV files) without lagging, plays angry birds (once you have done the upgrade), has wifi. Very nice little toy to have for the price.

Thanks to Esquire for organising the firmware update for my unit at the Durban branch. The update on Alcatel web site does Not allow angry birds to play but the update their technicians have sorts it perfectly.

@Esquire.......any update with regards to resolving this issue? cant believe how such an awesome tablet cant take ntfs cards. I mean you would have thought they wouldn't even consider fat32 as it is so outdated. How much longer will it take to resolve? I went and bought wifey a gobii instead of this on the basis that the T10 cant take anyhing but fat32.
