Any good local Coldfusion hosts out there?

Hi

I have some ColdFusion websites to host, but I can't find a good* local hosting provider.

* An ISP that have knowledgeable, responsive support staff who know more than how to spell coldfusion.

Been there and got the T-shirts with WebAfrica and FusionReactor.

Anyone know of any other CF hosts, with locally hosted servers?

Currently I'm using Exabytes, hosting on their servers in the USA. Their support is quick and their tech knowlege good, but the latency is poor.

i run coldfusion on my reseller hosting account but servers hosted over the sea ... i wish you luck, may the CF gods be with u

I'm still looking, but this is where I'm at...

- Still waiting (given up actually) for a reply to an email on the 23rd of March trying to finalise pricing and support offerings, from ODS,

- Waiting (not hopefully) for a reply from GAM (www.gamco.co.za) about how to add a CF DSN via their control panel - it's a bit concerning when their support guy doesn't even seem to know what a CF DSN or the CF administrator is. To their credit, they were very willing and quick to give me a test account, but without a database, CF is like a jet without fuel.

They sure do. I currently have one domain hosted with them (and others with USA and UK providers). I'm looking for a different GOOD local hosting provider.

PS. WebAfrica may just be the best of the local hosts, but that's not saying much.

An update (I hope someone finds this useful at some point)...

- ODS - no reply, I've given up.
- GamCo - After scratching their heads for a week or so, they still can't figure out how to create a CF DSN. To their credit, they do commonicate. But, I've let them off the hook (aka given up) - I can't afford to host an online shop with an ISP that I have to talk through doing CF admin.
- I mailed New Atlanta to see if they have any Blue Dragon hosting partners in SA. But their silence after 4 days is not promising.

As a last resort, I'm looking into setting up my own server with Linux, MySql and Railo and co-locating it somewhere locally. I found some ISP's from R400 pm.

I thought this would be easier than all this...

(Coldfusion is SUCH a good web language, but with the lack of hosting offerings, its doomed in this country.)
