hi i am so desperate for the update please help me i only have 1 gig adsl line so i cant keep playing as u have top download the maps which are like 5 megs sometimes if not more:( so i was wondering if there is any one in durban ?? that can help me out ?? will be appreciated :)

If you are in JHB , I have the full image ( just less than 6GB if I remember correctly ) , I can compress and cut to DVD for you , You just need to arrange a pickup.

EDIT -- Only saw now u r in Dubs

I am in Durbs and can organise you all three chapters of DAT.
 
Gary Waterworth, 6gigs? what do you have in your folder? the files are MAX of 3.1gigs. with all 3 chapters

I have all teh super dooper porn that comes with GW :)

I have no idea why it is so large ... It just ended up that way after doing a -image from a clean install..

This is off my laptop which was logged in a few nights back :
2007/01/06 05:17 PM 6,555,480,576 Gw.dat

I have used Contig on the file , so there is no fragmentation.
If you dont beleive me , u can come past my house and look. But then just bring the beer.

Everyones file sizes are gona be different simple because once you have downloaded the entire game it is all compressed inside the .dat file.... and when you enter new areas those particular files get decompressed hence a begger .dat file. :D

I dropped a DVD off with Scofield last night so should be sorted. Very odd though that my DAT file was smaller than Scofield's and I have all three chapters and have all outposts =S
 
So someone helped him? Last I was in contact with him, he asked for the stuff, I send him a mail with the details and no answer...

hey i did reply i sent u a private message hehe any ways i still have a problem!!! it says unable to read archive file ?? and i took my dat file out and put james one in ! and it still didnt work .hens i tried with both files in just renaming the one wiht another 't' and it still dosnt work ? help :sick: :confused:
