Anyone got a way to automatically reset router?

I'm looking for a script or app that can run on Winxp which will allow me to schedule router (1502G) reset a specified time.

Reason being that Telkom amortises usage for the 24 hour connect period which means one can get carry over at month end.

5102G - yes. Got a bit lysdexic

The 5102G supports CLI, so a telnet app which supports command line logon and specification of the script file to be run would do the trick.

We used these kind of things in the old DOS days in order to automate file sending via modem, but I haven't as yet managed to find anything for tcpip connect.

Have a look at fausto's routes.zip available for download. He had an app that automatically telnet'd in and ran a batch
