Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound-------->

I ordered some Arctic MX-4 from wootware, not the ultimate but is up there in most of the reviews I've read and is way overkill for what I'm doing anyway.

As an aside big ups to Wootware, ordered last night and saw it had a dispatch of 1-2 days and since my PC is dead until I can install a new cooler I asked them to get a wiggle on if possible, it was dispatched before 9.30 this morning. AND it was on special, so +1000 to them!
 
So all installed and the Cooler Master Hyper 212X combined with the Artic MX-4 dropped my CPU from 45 to 35 and is near silent with the fan only needing to run at 700rpm, so I am a happy man.

Also while my PC was in bit's I applied the MX-4 to my GFX card and got a 5 degree drop, and a noise reduction... Something to keep in mind if your card is starting to get a bit hot and noisy
