Are most ADSL installers contractors ?

The guy that arrived to "install" my ADSL was not a normal TELKOM guy, but a contractor, so was the guy who installed a friends ADSL

But today another friend got it and a normal Telkom guy installed it

So are the ADSL "installers" normally contractors or are Telkom just trying to catch up with installations ?

Just be careful that it is a real Telkom contractor - people have been scammed where a thieve come to "look at a telephone line" and steal stuff.
