Assistance with setting up a wifi network with 3G modem

Thanks, the link on troubleshooting ICS was useful. One quick question for my own knowledge - when you got this to work, does the router remain hard-wired to the PC?

How do I reboot the device? I did switch it off and on again. Would that suffice?

Yes it does as the PC does not have a wireless receiver/transmitter on it.

No, I think you have to unplug the netgear's power supply for at least 20sec (see the "more in-depth troubleshooter" below - look for power cycle.)
I'm actually way out of my depth on this one, but here's the best info I could come up with:

BASIC TROUBLESHOOTER

MORE IN-DEPTH TROUBLESHOOTER

NETGEAR DGN2200 USER MANUAL (downloads PDF)

NETGEAR SUPPORT FOR DGN 2200 (if you need the firmware)

If you find you need to restore factory settings after following the guides, the button will probably be underneath the router - use paper clip to push and hold for 7 seconds.
I must stress that I don't have experience with this, and I hope one of our MYBB experts can put a plaster on this problem before I force you to perform unnecessary surgery on the device lol:)
