http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+Linksys+WRT54G
Farmers in the US running VoIP phones connecting to Linksys
WRT54G wireless routers situated on their grain silos (with asterisk in the router,no voice mail) coonecting back to central * server wheir their
is PSTN, great for those remote locations where farmers would
a phone back to their house (ext) as well as to an Telkom line.
Great idea for rural areas that still have manual exchanges or NO coverage
(not to many I reckon are left) as Telkom has pretty much digitized
the whole of SA with Siemens EWSD DE 3,4,5 exchanges & DLU remote concentrators
with some Teltech E10 around too
