dont waste your energy they want over 2/3000 for the screen itself
i looked at it this way, is there any tab for 1500 or even 2000 that can match the tf101?
not in my opinion - so i paid the 1500 and got mine fixed
for 1500/2000 you can get 7 inch tabs with specs that dont even match our tf101
and some 10inches you can also get but also specs are not as good as the tf101

I have one of those and a TF101. the screen res is notability better than my tf101 + it has more ram, and far stronger CPU and comes with kitkat. at 2k I'd rather buy that, only problem is its in CT.

the nexus 7 for abotu 2500 is awesome but not strong enough
my son used to stand on the tf101 -almost 8/9kg and its still solid

I called laptopaccessories and minimum I'm looking at is like you said around R1 500.
What would you be willing to offer for the keyboard so it can contribute towards cost of repair/replacement? Cos I hardly ever use it.
I can't find a reasonable online price.

dude honestly i dont even need it as the tablet is now my sons for playing around with
i think you might able to get +-700 for the dock though

I think 500 or less. I paid about R1500 for mine back then.

im running katkiss ..so luckily still on android 4.3/4.4

I can see the display VERY dim if I shine a torch on it.
Went to Asus- nice guy didn't charge me anything to look at it- said it was something on the motherboard. The screen is fine!

no offence to the nice guy but mine had the exact same issue - shine a torch or light and you can see it
its the screen.the backlight has given up since our tabs are kinda old
get the screen replaced dude.
