nForce4 SLi vs nForce 500 Series?

Hi all. Going to setup a new system and planning to use the M2N-E board. Just wanted to ask your experiences and opinions on it. I found a thread from end of last year when I believe a number of people bought it, so just wanted to check how it's faring thus far. I've read on various forums that it very fussy with RAM and isn't the best overclocker. I don't plan to OC anyway, just need a solid, stable board running @ stock levels. Plan to pair it with 2x1GB Kingston Valueram DDR2-667.

The reason why I am hesitant of the nForce 570 is that everywhere I have read, they are not known for being the most stable and are RAM-fussy.

PS. I also read that they had a few dodgy BIOS releases. What's the latest stable BIOS you would suggest?

Well don't know much about your board but I have the M2N32 SLI Wireless Deluxe which is one of the best boards I have ever had and not much different from the M2N I think. I only have one complaint:
Slow bootup time compared to other motherboards. (takes about 1minute just to get to the actual OS booting)

Some other people had posted on the internet having problems with RAM not on the recommended list and some of the RAM on the recommended list, personally my RAM wasn't even on the tested/recommended list and it worked well, I was able to achieve:

2x 1gig Supertalent PC2-5300 (667Mhz) stock 667Mhz @ 5.0-5-5-13-1T Dual Channel mode overclocked stable to: 800Mhz @ 4.0-4-4-12-1T Dual Channel.

Which is how I've been running it now for almost a year. The motherboard is very quiet also! (well no fans so obviously)

I have M2N-E, Ram is very fussy! I have 8 sticks of the exact same ram,only 3 sticks work, I dont like the onboard sound on it too much, crackles sometimes in games and music, had some problems with driver compatibility with my Graphics card and the motherboard (made it run really slow) thats all fixed now though, other than that, very neat and easy to install, looks good and is running nicely now, pipe looks cool and keeps the motherboard silent and cool so all in all, it does the job, would have liked to have had dual gigabit network and maybe a better job with the ram issue and sound

Eish - i am gonna buy this board very soon - but am now a bit scared after i read this thread.

I am planning on fitting 2 x 1gig DDR2 667 ValueRAM - think this will be a problem?
