Last night I experienced same as Dusk. Last night I struggled to play, very inconsistent latency cause by huge spikes every few minutes. One minute can be fine 350-450, next minute can be lagging like hell 600-850. Disconnected twice from WoW, 4 times from Ventrillo.

Today experiencing same lag spikes in lord of the rings online than I did in WoW, lotro reporting 20-30% loss. Happened 3 times now.

From what I can see the problems starting after hop 6 196.43.9.54 (TELKOM SA LIMITED).

Going to run WinMTR to my WoW server for 2 hours and see what happens.

Can't play at all today, when i can login I get terrible MS and very frequent DC's.

The last time this happened for such a long period of time it was linked to the upload stream ISP. Have you guys looked into that yet?

I don't see how any of these trace routes are helping in anyway because they all seem to be having massive issues after the 6th hop or when it bounces to 196.43.9.54 (TELKOM SA LIMITED). Isolate what is happening there and provide us with better feedback please.

This has been on going for a period of 10 days, how long does it take to resolve an issue like this?
 
I agree with Odom, for me this is going on for 14 days now. As an officer of my guild I have to apologize to my guild every night why I cant raid. Today its sitting at constant 650ms-750ms and spikes up to 800-900ms and at some points I get disconnected. 2k-15k ms latency on Ventrillo at 14:00 :(. I cant play and yet again I have to cancel my raid. It sad that when I jump over to MTN 3G I get stable 420-520 ms, though I cant use it much as its too expensive.

Seriously if this cant be resolved after 2 weeks, then provide an alternate upstream provider other than through Saix\Level3 instead of making it difficult for customers to wait for a resolution which appears to getting nowhere for 2 weeks, if it continues I might be considering going else where cause I cant play or sit around doing nothing like this for much longer.

Hi Shaun,

I usually play call of duty on the igame servers, which as far as I am aware is part of iburst or somehow connected to iburst? igame.iburst.co.za

You should consider asking them for some help if you need as they are hardcore gamers running servers on the iburst network.

(Maybe you have... but in case you haven't ;))
