Axxess - Terrible Speeds, especially when streaming

I'm on Axxess Semi-Shaped (i.e. IS unshaped after 7pm on weekdays and on weekends), but I'm experiencing periods of extremely SLOW access to international websites and especially when streaming videos, even at night or on weekends. Sitting with a YouTube video "dripping in" at 3 - 4 KB/s at the mo. :confused: Unacceptable!

After reading some of the other Axxess complaints here, I see I'm not the only person who's tickets do not get replied on. Get your act together Axxess! :mad:

Dude, shouldn't you be angry at IS and not Axxess? Besides, there have been a few problems I know about in the last few days where some sites will load and others not (both on IS and SAIX). Not sure what the problem is, but if I had to guess it would be that they are busy integrating Seacom.

It's a known problem with IS...
But Axxess should refrain from saying the services is unshaped!
Shapped comes in two forms, a software service to limit access to certain sites and in the case of Axxess and over sell of a product that does not have the bandwidth capacity to support it.
Basically Axxess have sold the services as unshaped at night but they know full well that should everyone connect and demand their pound of flesh they do not have the capacity to provide it.
So I say no, it is not an IS problem, but one that rests with Axxess thanks to over subscription.

I agree Axxess doesn't really give a s#it. was approved for mobile on the 30 and by now im not yet connected
