'Banking' Vrewards...

Just got off the phone from helpdesk, and they have told me that their system is not ready to bank vrewards.

C'mon virgin.

I'm not wanting to get my vrewards sent to me as airtime.

When will i be able to get my vrewards banked?
 
Hi Boodles,

Banking of rewards will be in place from July of this year.
Initially prior to our launch it was meant to go along with our Reward partners who would participate in the scheme. That part of the functionality was delayed and as result caused the banking feature to be delayed.

Customers instead are receiving cash value rewards against their accounts or as airtime credit calculated at the equivalent value.

While some of the customers prefer banking as they can use it to purchase new handsets, accessories etc. It seems a substantial amount also enjoy the airtime. However we understand that the original proposition made allowances for both choices, and it is something that must be delivered upon or retracted.

Hope that provides you with the detail you need for now. Please watch out for developments on the scheme, and I hope that these will give you the options you are looking for.

Which day of the month are the rewards added to your account? I am on prepaid and it seems completely random. It is quite annoying when you load R100 worth of airtime because you are going to run out and then you get R100 worth of bonus airtime the next day...

We are really doing our utmost to get these issues sorted as soon as possible.

I acknowledge that we still have issues that are making our customers unhappy, what I am trying to do is sort as many individual issues as I can but still have the root cause sorted.

I acknowledge the Data, Vrewards issues amongst the top areas of concern.
