Battlefield2 coop mode for LAN

guess it doesn't exist... but is it possible to play coop mode? (perhaps by installing some mod or something)

it will be fun if i can add bots in the local lan game. (eg 3-4 human players vs other 4 bots)
 
Yes you can, apparently you can add things called bobots.
I first found them out when playing Wolfenstein: enemy territory.
Although its limited to few maps. Itsfun when your internet is down or your on an aeroplane.

ok it easy, some1 go in singleplayer and join round with bots
the rest of the guys go to the lan place, u will not see that there is game hosted

Click on the box that were u can tipe ip in
and tipe the ip of the pc with the computer that the singleplayer game is host
 
There is a mercenaries coop patch for bf2 as well. Works ok, but i gotta exit the game everytime i change maps or it crashes. I need new maps. 2 of us nail the computer on veteran difficulty with an excess of 200 points. I need better ai or new maps
