Best ADSL router for my needs

OK, so I phone Scoop to order the Mikrotik unit and they say that the price on the we is for dealers, not public.

There are no suppliers here in EL so now what.

Is there anyone who can order this for me at the website price of R1150.00excl.

Might be worth considering getting a cheap ADSL modem and a mikrotik router to use as the firewall. Best thing I ever bought, has loads of functionality.

Many thanks for all the information here - please be prepared for an incredibly stupid question:

Having only ever had an all-in-one ADSL/Wifi router [not even sure what the correct terminology is!] - were I to go the dual route, and purchase a simple ADSL modem, and then a separate Wifi router(?) (as in the example above) - how would they connect to one another?

In other words - does it have to be via cable, or do they all work wirelessly - or does it depend on the models involved... I'm not entirely sure what I need to look for in purchasing either - since I would obviously prefer not to have to run a cable between the modem & router, since the plan is to have them in different parts of the house, to thereby extend Wifi range...

Would appreciate an answer that could makes things simple for a complete neophyte!
