You can do so. IPCop is a dedicated firewall. And it's better because you can see exactly what is coming in and going out...DigitalSoldier said:Ive recently got a new pc so i still have my old one and that sollution sounds like the best idea i have tried pc cillin internet security 2006 but it gave me more problems than help i had the latest updates for it etc but it would give me a lot of errors and also the windows bluescreen error thing.
But im using an adsl router pluggd into my hub at home so can i just share the internet with the crappy pc with ipcop installed and my pc will be protected ?
But I prefer Smoothwall as the community is more active there.
Good luck
