Bob Woolmer dies at 58

I was very saddened and shocked to hear these news. A great coach. And seemingly a good man as well.
 
He was an absolute gentlemen. A shining light of the modern game. Bob, you will not be forgotten and will be missed greatly.
 
Great coach, great person...
I remem in 1997 I think it was, when he came to our school to give our cricket teams a motivational talk and quick coaching session...
Absolutely humble man...

Sad news indeed, from his interviews he gave the impression of a man who really loved cricket and gave his best to whatever team he coached. I'm interested to hear what the cause of death is because this news comes of the blue, he seemed to be perfectly healthy.
 
Sad news to end off was a great weekend of cricket. Will miss seeing Bob sitting behind his lappy. Good memories of bob, hansie and the boys in the 90's.

Nice to see the teams playing today wearing black arm bands.
