Boot problems

Hi,

My systems halts when booting with my 3G usb modem plugged in. I have to unplug it everytime to continue the boot. I also couldn't find anything in the bios setup to stop the system trying to boot from the modem.

Can anyone help?

Yep, teraside is correct .

@hijackhippo, your machine's BIOS thinks your Huawei E220 HSDPA modem is a USB CDROM drive, changing Boot device order to boot from Hard Drive 0 instead of CDROM drive, will solve this problem.
