Well, its been like this ever since I got it. On the lucky occasions that I tried to join a friend without it saying "unable to connect to host" I could play, and I would just join the players in my players list when I wanted to, but whenever, I try to find a match, it just keeps on searching FOREVER!

I am aware that my Strict NAT, isn't making this any easier, but surely I should be able to find some matches since it works for COD2, TF2 and Halo 3. This is really pissing me off, but I live in Namibia (RSA's neighbour) and my ISP is too retarded to help me with my NAT. Could any of you help with getting my NAT open, or do you have a solution to my COD4 problem?

I would just go to a guide, but as most of you probably know by now, things in Africa aren't normally done as easily as in America. If you recommend me to buy somethings, the only shops I have here are Hi-Fi Corp. and Incredible connections. Please help me!

The NAT sounds like the real problem here....

Do you have ADSL? If you do make sure you forward the correct ports (The second link in Doobiwans post)

If you don't have COD4 let us know what connection you have

I do have ADSL, I believe it is a 314kbps connection, but it is not the problem since I can join halo 3 matches, etc. But I can't get my NAT open. :( I tried portforwarding with a modem, but it didn't work. Do I NEED a router to get my NAT open.

I have the same problem with this game. My NAT is open and it still can't find any matches. I usually play my friends list as I have never found a match.

Well there is a patch in the works, I know some folks have had issues with corrupt saved profiles. If you have a free month pro account try logging in with another account. Alternatively, if you're done with the Single player and Achievements, delete the game data on the drive.
