We are currently deciding what games should be sponsored tournament games at the LAN, and your vote is important. The games mentioned will be added to poll, and the games that receive the highest rating will be the official March Tournament games. Please read our forum post Here
We would like to have player sponsored tournaments for the games that don't make it to the Sponsored tournament status. A player sponsored tournament is where all the interested players put R10/R20 into a jug and the winning player/team gets to take all the money, and the top ranking players will also receive Carnage.Points. The Carnage.LAN Tournament director will run the tournament and the winning players will be mentioned on our website and newsletters. We would like to make the LAN as fun as possible for all the not so hardcore gamers. If Carnage.LAN gets a good attendance we will put a R200 towards any Player sponsored tournament where there are more than 10 interested players.

Free Entry to Girl/Female Gamers, if you register on our website and book. So guys... Get your girls to signup. We have seperate female bathrooms and showers which will be LOCKABLE!
Tournaments which will be held at this LAN will be posted on our website 2 weeks before the LAN. We will do pols on our website to determine what the community want to play. We will have 1 Team Game and 2 Individual Tournaments at each LAN, and it will be R20 to enter the competition. 40% of the door money will be awarded as prize money on top of sponsored prizes.
There will be various servers hosting the most popular games, Quake 3 Arena, Warcraft 3, Battlefield 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Enemy-Territory, and whatever else gamers want to play. Ask an Admin and we will load it on the server.
Gamers are encouraged to signup on lan.carnage.co.za and register for the LAN. As this is the only method of 100% guaranteeing your place. And tell all your friends to as well! Plus, only if you are registered on lan.carnage.co.za can you earn and win with your Carnage.Points! Read up on the site for more information about Carnage.Points. When you register on our website you immediately earn your first 100 points.
We have caterers at the event which will be selling food, snacks and cooldrinks between 9am and 9pm, at very good prices. No need to go out for junkfood at our LAN.
What to bring:
• Computer
• Headphones
• Multi-plug if you need more than 1 plug (please give to Carnage Staff to test before plugging it in)
• Sleeping bag, pillow
• Clean Clothes (showers available at hall)
• Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap and deodorant.
• A good attitude
