CellC puk2 code

Hi all,

I was working on a Nokia 5140i that is using CellC as a provider and managed to put the pin2 code in wrong 3 times. Thus I need to use a puk2 code to unlock it again.

My question: is the puk2 code that same as the normal puk code?

and would **052 * PUK Number * New Pin Code* Repeat New PIN Code #
work? I got this info from the MTN website

i don't know if your question is still available...i have some information about your problem
if you want to change PIN: **05*PUK*new PIN*repeat new PIN#
for PIN2: **052*PUK2*new PIN2*repeat new PIN2#
i hope it work...

I'm not 100% sure Cell C PUK and PUK2 are the same!

Vodacom and MTN are but I've had problems with Cell C PUK2 in the past!

I just opened a new Cell C SIM pack and PIN2 is not the same as PIN (one) and the PUK given does NOT work as PUK2!
