No mention of LG???

You can install plex on your main PC and have wifi enabled TVs in all of your other rooms. It will all stream from the server.

Question for ZoidBerg:

When streaming, does it stream from your wifi connection to your server directly, or does it go online, find your server, then DL and buffer?

Wifi.

Ok lemme unplug, or kill my Internet connection and try.

Just remember that your server uses the internet to communicate with the Plex servers for authentication (e.g. if you have a PlexPass account it has to verify this) so unplugging it from the network may cause issues. The actual content is streamed locally though unless you are not on your local network.

Are you talking about DLNA streaming which just about every TV with a network card can do, or actually physically running a Plex App on the TV?

I know LG have the App as well but as far as I know it's not very widely supported.
