well, the chartwell tower was supposed to up by this weekend which has just past? any word on that, and if it is up,wen will sentech decide to tell us by updating their coverage map?

Where are you in relation to Chartwell, ie.. if you were to look at the sea, how far to the left or right is it ?

well if i was looking directly at the see then i would be facing about max 2.5km diagonally to the right of chartwell.

well if i stand on my roof i prob can get direct sight of it. wen will sentech update the coverage map?

ya, i'v also got an email from ProAsm saying that Gateway/Umhlanga Ridge should be covered... although the map says otherwise

wonder when sentech do actually update the coverage maps...

/sidenote&gt; No offence to ProAsm, but sentechs telephone sales rep's are atrocious. I'v been spoken to with more politeness and tact many a time with telkom...i hope Sentech's resellers have a better attitude

Zigy, i live & work in jhb, however we'v got a store in Umhlanga Ridge, opposite Gateway mall, (next to the Steers/Debonairs)

Tried to apply at Sentech, even if its not available right now, they can just do the paperwork and once available, install and start billing. I do not have the time or patience to call they helpline every single day, speak to the voice prompts and explain the entire process

Guess i'll log on the broadband locator every now n then
