Check prepaid credit remotely?

Is there a way to check prepaid credit on a remote SIM. We use 3G for VPN sometimes and I would like to remotely check the credit balance and transfer credit to the specific SIM. Is this possible. Any tips?

As for transferring credit, use Internet Banking for that.
