Christmas Father I beg of you to please update the base stasion near my home to EDGE before christmas. MTN never stated that they have a conditional launge for EDGE. Next christmas we can look @ 3G.

If you are with MTNSP you can do that at https://callquest.mtnsp.co.za. You do not need to pay anything to use it if you have detailled billing on that line. With Nashua Mobile it's a bit more difficult as you have to manually calculate your usage per the call details, but you can get the info.

I don't know what card you're using, but my Erricson GC85 keeps pretty good track of usage via its data counters as its very much in line with the MTN records. You just have to remember to zero at the beginning of you billing cycle.
