Cigarette prices are down

Tobacco for cigs get loads of chemicals added, one of the reasons they are so expensive. Sure, you can grab a tobacco leaf and smoke it, but it's not a cigarette.

aren't their Ciggie machines on the open market,
and growing Tobacco is quite easy, as my limited understanding.
so whats so hard? maybe the bribes and connections to sell it semi-legally?

how long do you think it takes to grow and dry tabacco? nevermind treatment etc

no idea, but always imagined it wasn't hard,
I mean Cuban's do do it, and they cope well enough even with crumbling infrastructure.

but like I said, not so clued up on the exact process, but I imagine its simple enough.

The leaves need to be fermented, sorted, graded, blended.

Blended to taste the same as the previous batch, with similar nicotine levels etc. While using a different batch of tobacco.

Not simple at all.

like 4+ months to grow, then 1-5 years to dry and age etc. if heat/fire dried its more like a year to dry otherwise much longer.

so minimum like 1 year at very best without the other processes.

These cheap brands are very rough going! I either invest in cigarette filters or start smoking a pipe or smoke less of real cigarettes. I swear these cheap brands have no processing done on the tobacco to remove tar and nicotine. I think even the 1.2 mg tar and 1.2 mg nicotine stated on the box of these real coffin nails is a lie.
Bought a pack of Stuyvesant the other day, preferred the ShaSha by a mile. Also tried some other "proper" brand, same story, half the pack is still lying at home somewhere.
