Classic ASP or ASP.net?

i am not a asp or .net coder my any stretch of the imagination, however flash i my baby and integrating it with asp was cool but with flash 8 and .net most of my wishes came true.

.net certianly a great and powerful language - mix it with flash actionscript and you have the ability to do anything you want.

although adobe/macromedia tend to use php or cold fusion for alot of their examples.

i think iis is the best thing to use for asp, alternatives can often be buggy.
 
Frontpage always had issues with good quality HTML coding. So I will never go back, anyway not at this stage... Dreamweaver at this stage is the closest to what I need to design websites using PHP. However with ASP.net... .Net VS2005
 
I've had a change of view about DW...
Been using Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 for a week now and very impressed.
I'm having trouble with the tables but i guess i will get used to it given some time.

I think it works best with ASP. Database intergration is a piece of cake as well.

What do i need to install to run asp.net?
