Hi,

Just wondering if I am alone here... (using my Nokia 6680 as a 3G modem)

Lately, when I try to connect, It dials, connects and verifies my username/password, then gives a PPP protocol error.

Sometimes I can connect fine, then after a few minutes, the connection is dropped... then I sometimes am able to reconnect, other times I can't...

Could the area be "over loaded"? Sometimes I also get the "network busy" when I want to make a call.

Thanks,
Regards,
Greg

What settings are you using? - both username and password should be blank, APN should be internet...

It could be that the base-station you're connecting to is overloaded, or you could be feeling the effects of [searchforum]Cell Breathing[/searchforum].

I'll check the settings, but they have been the same for the last 2 years, and the connection was okay for the last year or so...

Anyone else in Durbanville having issues?
