Good Day,

Not sure if I should open a ticket for this because I don't have an actual "fault" per say but routing from Stanger to JHB via Zoom Fibre seems sub-optimal. I used to get pings to Durban as low as 2ms but now they average 5-6ms, to JHB I used to get sub 10ms now it's 15-17ms. I noticed this as well in games like CS2 where my friend on Balwin Fibre in Ballito gets 9ms to JHB in CS2 while I'm getting double that for only +-30km extra distance (theoretically)

Could we possibly look at doing some path optimisation?

Hi there, so currently depneding on which NLD is in play, the latency between JHB and Durban will vary from 7ms -14ms
Currently its on the higher end of that range due to the Current NLD in use. We have queried the latency stability with the carrier a day or two ago regarding some optimizations actually, but for now, the latency is around 14ms at core. JHB <> KZN

Anything on top of that would be 13ms + your Last mile latency to the Data Centre.
If the last mile latency to Durban was around 2ms before, and is current 5-6ms, its likely a local issue like your internal network, or the backhaul paths for Zoom Fibre are slightly more elivated than normal.

Although a 3-4ms increas wouldn't be a cause for concern, I do agree that in can add up along the route, but this should improve once we get some feedback internally about the NLD latency situation

Good evening, just want to check if someone knows whats going on. Multiple people complaining about fibre outages in Brackenfell South, Cape Town.

Hi there, I'm not seeing a report from Vuma, Are you still experiencing issues in the area?

HI all in KZN, we are aware of the increased latency on the NLD. Around 22.6ms since this moring.
Issue is still with the Carrier. We are awaiting feedback accordingly

Hi, is there any reason why cool ideas cannot collect payment automatically from credit card each month?
Imagine one having to login to Netflix every month just to pay for the service.

HI there, unfortunately we don't have that payment option as yet, however you can feel free to set up a Debit order via your Client Portal. It will be under Billing --> Debit Order

My internet is down in Durbanville, Cape Town on Vuma Trenched. Anyone else having issues? My DHCP is connecting fine, but can't ping the gateway
Hi there, Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
I see there is maintenance in the area -
but it appears its just equipment replacement, so should not be offline for an extended period of time (hopefully)

Anyone else experiencing drops or incredibly slow speeds right now? Google services are failing, I’ve been kicked off of Battlenet, Twitch streams aren’t loading

For me things have been feeling sluggish during the day yesterday and also noticed some Youtube content was staying on low quality, when you change it to high quality it just loads constantly

Good day, are you still experiencing issues in this regard?
I'm not seeing anything standing out that could be causing this.

Seemed okay but the internet has now completely died
