Hey guys,

Just installed Ubuntu. I'm having problems setting up two pppoe connections and routing local through one and international through the other. How would I go about doing this?

Thanks

I'm not too familiar with ubuntu and how it lets you set up pppoe connections. You'll have to set up one, look into /etc/ppp and see what was done and try to add a second one.

Once you have that setup and you have two connections (i.e. you have two ppp interfaces - ppp0 and ppp1) the routing is rather easy. I'm assuming you want one for local and one for international traffic? As you'll see, one of these interfaces will appear to be not working (because you have one default route). Type route -n to see. You have to make sure that the interface for international gets the default route, and you have to add routes for all the local IP ranges (posted on this BB before).

Write back with your progress, I'll try to help best I can.

Hey,

I'm going to try this out later. It's rest time now. Heavy night... :D
