Cudy AX3000 -> openwrt

Have you tried setting up a mesh with multiple of these units using the Openwrt firmware ? I've got a few of its cousin the M1800 and see there is a Openwrt firmware for it.

Flashed the Cudy WR3000 with OpenWRT - running Firmware Version：OpenWrt 25.12.0-rc4 r32534-12374d88b9

I'm amazed to see Cudy support OpenWRT so well. I had to DIY flash my rubbish ISP Ruijie, but once I had full control it became awesome kit.
Since Cudy supports OpenWRT, its on my list for my next upgrade.

Their new routers use Broadcom and Qualcomm so unfortunately we'll probably not see OpenWRT again anytime soon from them.
