Data card and Prepaid Sim problem

Hi
I just loaded airtime onto a relatively new prepaid sim and converted it into a data bundle and tested it on my cellphone and it works fine, but when I insert it into my HW e620 datacard it won't recognize the sim, it gives me an error message about invalid sim or something.

I tested all my other simcards and they all work including my Virgin Simcard.

Please help

Yeah, I need to do a sim swap, it's the simcard, it won't work on my phone either now...
It's not urgent though, I'm using another sim now anyway.
 
Probably, I think this sim could be a dud though, the sim has an abnormal bulge where the chip is located.
