its the prep work and all this

a buddy had a weekend burger joint and he used to make burger from scratch

took alot of his time and effort compared to the reward

like i wanted to even start small ..gourmet boerie type of set up

It was a ton of work initially but we've managed to streamline quite nicely. My partner manages the staff (gardener/cleaner) and the property. I handle bookings/guest communications. At the moment I spend almost no time on it (we're about 80% booked till May next year already) but in the beginning it was like a full time job.
