My mom is visiting the sisters in the US en UK over the coming holidays so i'm sorted xD.

Although i'm only getting the steam controller as i have a windows box at the tv and my work pc is running ubuntu.
I do stream to the work machine sometimes for the windows based games that doesn't have full controller support.

It's a nice little case for what it costs.
I was actually looking for a book type chassis that can fit in with my consoles in the tv cabinet. The only one i could find that didn't cost a arm and a leg was a cfi one. It could fit my gfx card but it could not fit a watercooler which is not ideal since i want to play around with overclocking.

If you're running a 2.4Ghz standard I don't think you will have any luck. In that scenario the 5Ghz standards will work perfectly. Get a 802.11n router or a if your devices support that but the support for n is greater.

2.4Ghz = 802.11N

And 2.4GHZ is just fine, as long as you have 40hz supported and enabled so it's up to 300Mbps.

5Ghz isn't worth the drama. Just go 802.11 AC if you really want to make a worthy upgrade.

Nope that is not correct. 802.11n can be deployed on either the 2.4 Ghz or the 5 Ghz range

Some devices only support 802.11n on 2.4Ghz but others support both 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz

I made a mistake in my previous statement, 2.4Ghz should work assuming you're using 802.11n without much interference on the 2.4Ghz band. Like bluetooth for example. I have a bluetooth controller and using that while streaming on the 2.4Ghz band makes the game unplayable.

It was in response to your post that separates the 2.4ghz standards from 802.11n which is what I was correctly.

Yes it covers both bands. Your post made it sound like 2.4ghz is not 802.11n.

As for your Bluetooth comments I also have controllers and multiple phones and causes no interference with 2.4ghz Wifi. So I would look to something else as the cause of your issues there.

I run 5ghz to but have almost no devices that support it.
 
Oh okay didn't mean that. I've actually nailed it down to the controller itself, it can clip a phone or tablet so the antenna is close enough it seems. Everytime I press a key the stream stutters when using a wired controller no such problem. So in my case i'm positive it's the controller when I switch to 5Ghz all is well.
