I wouldn't recommend anyone new to crypto getting in right now unless it's gambling money. It takes a lot of experience to know when to buy and sell. The market is a blood bath.

Probably was something else. Despite what Wikipedia says, crypto currency was alive in well in the early 2000's. I first hear about it when I moved to the UK in 2003.

Lot of guys think it's a new thing. It's not.
