anyone else experience no sound on channel 66, excluding the adverts which are fine ....

Yes. From time to time there is no sound.
Perhaps we should collectively ask for a discount of refund on our DSTV.
On another note, I am peeved with Mutichoice.
They took in my brand new Decoder a year or two ago as it was "broken" and gave us a loaner and ever since then we have had trouble.
I think they just recycle everyone's second hand decoders?
Basically Multichoice should have replaced my new Decoder IMO.
Now it is too late to complain. They saddled me with a Model 720i and I think it is a lemon.
The Decoder makes a ghost across the screen, especially where the writing is.
And my one TV loses it's vertical fix whenever a white screen appears.
Had a couple of guys in to check the Dish and the angle etc and they came to the conclusion it is my Decoder that is giving the problems as even when they unplug the aerial on the roof it still gets these ghost lines.
They suggested I buy a new decoder as they reckon Multichoice will just give a recycled one and in no time you will have problems again.
