Okay I see it's wireless, unfortunately only two of those in Cape Town and nothing on Gumtree.

I'm planning on going another route, pulse output from meter -> ESP8266 -> openHAB.

You can go even cheaper with a CT clamp -> ESP8266.
 
I see a NUC (great for running a HA install)in CT for R950. Would be interested but too far to test before payment.

Managed to pull Solarman wifi logger into Home Assistant.

But if a good price I'll still consider one.
