EU - Horde - Twilight's Hammer

That is right. We have a horde guild called "Dark Rage" on Twilight's Hammer on the Europe servers.

Currently we have 70 unique accounts and 110 players. We are 99% South African.

For those starting new, the character creation block has been removed from the server and we would welcome any new South African players.

is twilight hammer a PVP server?
Whats the PVP situaltion like on the server.. e.g. wait times for BG action at various levels. Whats the population ratio between alliance/horde

We are quite a few SA guys on US that is starting to considder also getting EU accounts.. we are currently alliance based and will want to move to horde if we have to reroll on eu. Just looking for a well balanced PVP server.

Well our server seems to be pretty well balanced (Kul Tiras), it's a normal server though not PVP. I'm in a "multi-national" guild, but mostly guys from the UK, otherwise we got a few other nationalities in our guild which is sitting at about 60 members at the moment.

Unfortunately we are not interested in a PVE server, having played a few chars on both types i cant see me ever going back to PVE.

Ok the BG queues for Twilights Hammer


If you play horde (like our whole guild do):
Instant AV, when horde is close to winning, maybe up to 30min or instant if the 2nd AV opens up.

Instant ABs most of the time, and sometimes even instant WSGs.

This is all at level 60 though.

Level 20-29 you will notice WSG come up sometimes.
Level 30-39 nothing BG related open up.
Level 40-49 there is a regular AB up with horde winning 99% of the time.

Well I might (CourierIT willing!) be getting my EU version tomorrow, so I'm going to be looking for a Horde guild...<hint><hint>

Are you guys in Dark Rage into PVP at all? The last guild I was in wasn't interested....but then it was an alliance (read PVE) guild...lol

Much better. Allthough the servers are a bit more tempramental. That should be sorted out when they move the servers from France to England. Or so I've been told.

Well i managed to get a guest acount for EU this week, will convert it to oficial as soon as Take2 has WoW EU in stock again.
First impressions: logged on tuesday for the first time while the US servers were down for scheduled maintenance... 10 min into the game the servers were braught down 2 hours later i log back in and the server lag is soo rediculous that any interaction with the environment is impossible even though all the chat channels seem fine... so tried again yesterday, same problem... server fine for about 20 min at a time and then takes a massive lag dive usually just enough to get me killed I really hope that this unstable performance is not the trend on the EU servers.

It is my plan to move over completely after the expansion, but till then ill still be playing my mains on the US servers... pretty hard to just let 3 lvl 60 characters go

There seem to be a lot of restrictions on guest accounts e.g. i am not authorised to say anything in general/trade channel and at this stage i do not think i would be authorised to join a guild so i will look you guys up as soon as i made this account official.

Yeah the servers seemed to be very laggy since the 1.10 patch maintenance and also when they had that BG issue... It was much better last night already though. In the few weeks I've been playing on EU - this was the first time I had real issues. I suppose these will come and go from time to time, but then so it did on Dark Iron too...

Overall I still believe this to be the better option for us SAFFERS...
