Experiences using MTN Access4Life?

Does anyone have long term experiences using MTN Access4Life?
Does it actually work and do they in fact only bill you the R5 fee if the sim has seen no "Revenue Generating Activities"?

I have 2 sims running it for afrihost data. Working fine.

Have you ever actually had the R5 deducted?
Are you using it because the sims are being billed via Afrihost so essentially MTN isn't seeing any revenue generating activity?

Yes, I lost a sim for not using it. Got a new mtn sim and loaded R100 on it and activated it. Since then it has been good.

both sims have been getting deducted. Not sure if its every 3 months or what
