Well it is not yet over in practice but, in Mexico, if Hamilton or Russel win then Antonelli must finish in the top 9.
If anybody else wins then Antonelli could DNF and still have won the Title.
Max's resurgence was all for naught, as he is now out of contention, but the irony is that if Max wins in Mexico he gives Antonelli the Championship.

True, Stroll as on example should really have been gone already. Sainz is also becoming a liability.

Max was never in the running for the championship.
 
Hoping Antonelli clinches the title at the next race. The kid deserves it. Sure it helps being in a decent car but he has had a stellar season and showed proper race craft. I'm not a Merc fan but I'm rooting for the youngster.
 
Norris - Average to good driver still young and can stay at Mclaren. Move to lesser team in few years.
Piastri - Same as Norris, young probably will move to one of the lesser teams in a few years

Russell - average to good. Had enough chance at top team, can now move to lesser team like Sainz.
Antonelli - Seems good driver. Not convinced yet he is a great. Young and can stay at Merc.

Verstappen - Best on the grid, can go wherever he wants, lets just hope he stays in F1
Hadjar - Seems like average to good, Young and can stay at one of top teams to prove him another year or two

Leclerc - good to great driver, needs better team but then he is Mr Ferrari for more than 5 years
Hamilton - old will not win a championship again. Should rather move to a team like Cadillac and help them build with his experience

Albon - average, had enough chance, should make space for younger driver.
Sainz - average, can hang around in lesser teams a few more years.

Lawson - seems to be average, can have a few more years to prove himself
Lindblad - to new to judge but havent shown anything great yet, can stay

Alonso - old and slow, His performances are hidden by a bad teammate. Should retire
Stroll - Yes

Ocon - Bye
Bearman - Might be a good driver, need a seat in a top team

Hulkenberg - average, had enough chance, should be replaced
Bortoleto - Young should get more time, have not shown anything great yet.

Gasly - Average, had enough chance, should make space for younger driver.
Colapinto - not convinced, probably helps smaller teams with money rolling in

Perez - can stay a few more years helping small team
Bottas - Average, had enough chance, should make space for younger driver
 
Very mid race, more so that it required giving up sleep. I had my headphones on and started packing work lunch and other stuff so I had less to do this morning after my walk. I'm feeling OK on 4hrs of sleep but I know I am going to crash hard later this afternoon.

I see Vertsppen has said that the strategy was changed compared to what was agreed upon pre race and I agree with him - why go SOFT SOFT and show that you are on a 2 stop - they should have gone SOFT MEDIUM and left people guessing.

I just screenshot the Mexico times and I see it's going to be the same 10pm lights out this Sunday. I think I will go for my Monday walk after Sunday night supper to kill time to lights out and extend my sleeping hours next Monday morning.

yeah he has been consistent

having a fast car is nice but we saw george didnt do much with it

if we gave max that car we would have another record breaking season

Antonelli may win before Mexico.

If the FIA cancel Qatar and UAE, the plan is to add Imola. If that happens, Antonelli wins instantly.
