Slumley, I didn't use any software. That is just a fable. I simply asked everyone here that runs a website, to place a simple link on their site to my site.

That is how google works. The more people link to you the better. Actually the more IMPORTANT people link to you, the better for your ranking.

Nothing insiduous about it. No tips to give (that you couldn't find by googling) and no fancy software.
