Faulty motherboard?

yea, my memorys acting up again, bought all pieces for a new pc from different places (u just cant get all your exact items from 1 place). got the board from take2

Or simple board is earthing....all powers on but the display.

Right - last night I swapped motherboard with an identical one from another PC, and it works perfectly, so the CPU and memory are not an issue. The faulty board with a known-good CPU and memory does not work. Conclusion: motherboard is definitely faulty. I'm off to Rectron again today. Damned if I know what they did the other day to make a board work when I cannot, no matter what.

Went to Rectron, and it didn't work when they tested it this time. They replaced it. Apparently some of these boards have a faulty resistor that causes intermittent faults.

Claymore, I had the exact same problem, with the exact same board... Did u have the S754/S939 version. I spent 2 full days at Rectron trying to get the piece of cr@p to boot. only after replacing the mobo 3 times did it finally decide to boot and work properly.
